FUNDRAISING EVENTS

The HCSO Community Foundation achieves its mission through the generous donations of community members and through their participation at our various community events throughout the year.

Your participation in HCSO Community Foundation fundraising events and donations to the foundation help us support those less fortunate in our community, support our hard working employees, and build strong relationships in our community.

If you're interested in donating, please visit our donate page.

November

Each November, employees of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office are allowed to grow out their facial hair after making a charitable donation to the HCSO Community Foundation.

In years past, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office had a policy against the growth on facial hair aside from mustaches. However, policies have updated to allow for some beards, within certain limits.

CHARITABLE EVENTS

HAMILTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S CHRISTMAS EXPRESS

This is one of our favorite events of the year. There is no greater joy than bringing the excitement of Christmas, the magic of Santa, and a heaping bag full of toys and clothes to kids in need across Hamilton County.

Santa rides in style with an escort of red and blue lights, and Justice, our HCSO mascot.

With the help of Hamilton County Youth Assistance Program, families in our county that are in need are referred to the HCSO Community Foundation to receive gifts.

BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING

We love to set up the youth in our community for success... and that starts with being prepared for school. Each year, our Back to School Shopping event helps out dozens of students by providing them with backpacks, clothes for school, shoes and so much more!

At the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, we're proud to offer a Citizen's Academy. The Citizen's Academy allows the public an inside look at the day-to-day operations of the HCSO and shows citizens what it takes to be a law enforcement officer.

Graduates of the HCSO Citizen's Academy have created the HCSO Citizens Academy Alumni Association. These individuals are essential community volunteers that help us operate the citizen's academy, as well as several HCSO Community Foundation events.
